Upheaval IPA: Upheaval IPA is the result of our brewers’ relentless pursuit of the perfect IPA. With more than two pounds of hops per barrel, Upheaval IPA unleashes a huge hop flavor and aroma with serious bitterness and balanced finish. Brewed with wheat, the result is a hazy, bold IPA that’s Unfiltered. Unexpected. Unapologetic. Uncompromised.
Blacklight IPA: Blacklight IPA is a bold, hop-forward session style black ale in collaboration with Bend, OR brewery Boneyard Beer. Brewed with a heavy dose of five different hop varieties and stained black as night with cold-steeped dark malts, this beer hits huge with hop flavor and aroma without the heavy roast and harsh bitterness suggested by its color.
Alchemy Pale Ale: Alchemy Ale melds years of experimentation and our special Alchemy hop blend, in a pure expression of brewing art and science. Alchemy Ale has a bright, distinct hop character balanced with hints of caramel and remarkably smooth finish.
Hefe Hefeweizen: Meet the beer that started it all. This naturally cloudy brew starts with the highest quality malted wheat. Its bold, clean flavor and pronounced citrus and floral aromas are what define American-style Hefeweizen.
Vanilla Brrrbon ’13: An imperial version of our BRRR seasonal ale aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels, for this limited edition brew. The addition of vanilla beans heightens the vanilla character imparted by the barrels, and adds a delicious layer of complexity to the beer’s oak and caramel character.
Old Embalmer ’13: First brewed in 1999, Old Embalmer Barleywine Ale is brewed with copious amounts of malts, this year’s version features X-431 hops that lend earthly and floral qualities for a brilliant balance and velvety finish.
Kill Devil Brown Ale: This rum barrel-aged limited release was inspired by ingredients traditionally used by Caribbean distillers. Sweet Barbados and Blackstrap Molasses provide touches of roasted sugar, black licorice and blackened toffee while the palm sugars invite notes of subtle sweetness. As the beer conditions in Puerto Rican rum barrels, the vanilla and subtle oak flavors and aromas develop and integrate with the Calypso hops’ soft tropical and stone fruit aromas.
Raspberry Russian Imperial Stout: An extremely rich and complex beer, the addition of raspberries during the fermentation process results in an almost purplish opaque color with a beautiful brown head. Warm chocolate and roasty notes compliment the hop bitterness.
